Coordination Group (CG)

  • Members: the Coordination Group consists of the chair and vice-chairs of the Advisory Council, the coleads of the four taskforces and the secretariat

 

CG activities

The Coordination Group takes care of the more practical aspects of implementing the Advisory Council's decisions and preparing Council meetings.

Special activities, the CG is currently concerned with:

  • In response to a request from DG-RTD for a comprehensive justification for the 10-12 commerical scale demos recommended by the Strategic Research Agenda (pdf icon 1.7 mb) and Strategic Deployment Document (pdf icon 672 kb), the "ZEP Flagship Programme" is being developed. An ad-hoc subgroup of the CG developed a first outline. Since May 2007, the process is taken over and largely driven by the Taskforce Demonstration and Implementation, working in close consultation with the other Taskforces.
    At the 2nd General Assembly (3 October 2007, Paris), the Flagship Programme (pdf icon 1.0 mb) was formally endorsed by all platform members.
    Since then, the discussion very much centred on the financing of the demonstrations.
